$1500 Two bedroom Apartment for rent
Sublet.com Listing ID 3611929 DescriptionIm looking to sublet my apartment for the remaining of the lease from now or February to the end of April. The reason is that Im away for but dont want to break the lease. My roommate is super nice, shes actually my cousin and works at night so youll be 90 of the time by yourself in the apartment. The apartment is located in Henry Street in between SoHo, Chinatown, and Lower East Side. Its not a huge apartment, but its small, nice, comfortable, and recently renovated so the bathroom is modern with wooden floors, etc.The RoomThe bedroom is furnished with a full bed, desk, chair and Ill leave the furniture in the unit. The room comes with an AC unit which I just recently purchased when the heatwave came to NY during summer. It also has a pretty large closet in NYC terms, and two large windows facing the main street. Utilities usually go for 70pp for ConEdison and Wifi. But it should be around 30 as I will cover the Wifi. The BuildingThe building is a typical common old building from NYC probably built around the 1950s. As you can imagine living in and around Chinatown theres a mixture of easy going professionals 28 yrs and older families in the building. Pretty quiet.LaundryTheres a laundromat literally downstairs in the next building. I usually do a service like Cleanly since I work long hours but Ive used the Laundromat in the next street and its totally fine and cheap.Who Im Looking forIm looking for someone who is responsible, has a good sense of humor, respects my roommate female, is clean, in their late 20s and financially stable. Like I said, if you have a normal day job youll probably rarely see my roommate so its a plus when it comes to privacy and wanting your own space. However, the conditions of the apartment are not to change because of that. Please dont bring the party home you can obviously have friends over.TransportationThe apartment is also close to the BD station at Grand Street like 10 min walk and F trains at East Broadway 10 min walk too. The 6 train is on Canal Street and that would be like another 12 minutes.Restaurants BarsOverall, good apartment, close to SoHo, LES, and Chinatown some cool bars and restaurants on Doyer Street Pell Street like Apotheke, friendly Tuxedo, Joes Shanghai, Mr. Fongs, and much more.
