Do you please Him?

Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

(We were created for His pleasure. Do all please Him? Look around you and decide for yourself).

John 12:43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

(Your beliefs and actions are shaped by the audience to whom you play. Do you love the praise of men or the praise and blessings from God? Who is the audience to whom you play)?

Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

(Can you simultaneously please God and impress people? No way)!

Your actions speak louder than your words. Your external choices reflect your internal priorities.

See John 8:34 and Romans 8:7-8 [enmity = hatred]. If all you want to do is satisfy your fleshly desires, you'll not be pleasing to God.

According to 2 Timothy 2:15 we are to study God’s word and seek God’s approval. Do your best to live a life pleasing to Him.
