Watson's Garden Center

Watson’s Garden Center was founded in 1955 by the three Watson boys: Bobby, Jimmy, and Joe. Their parents, Maurice and Elizabeth Watson were there also to help the new business along. Through the 60s and 70s, the business grew from lawnmower and tractor sales and repair to include a full service garden center, nursery, and greenhouse. In the 80s Weber grills became very popular and added greatly to the company’s offerings and growth. Today, we offer much the same as in the past minus the lawnmower repairs. Our key employees which we count on in a big way include: Nancy Kelso, Mary Ruble, Bob Salmond, Marge McLeary, Kevin Murphy, Gina Baum, Nina Davis, Eric Rutledge, and Craig Knight.
