Vintage Silver-Plate Jewelry/Trinket Box

This a vintage, circa 1980, exquisitely Deco in style, lidded, silver plated oval shaped, jewelry/trinket box. The lid of this box displays a pineapple knob; also the lid and box show floral etching, scrolling, and detailed ornamentation, both of which are akin to the Art Nouveau look. The inside of the box is lined with a red velvet type material. The base of the box is lined with a green felt lining.

The box measures 5 1/4” tall (with the lid) x 4 1/2” wide x 3 3/8” deep. I acquired this piece as part of an estate that I am charged with liquidating. My research has indicated that the piece was made the International Silver Co. The condition of this box is excellent, with no pitting of the silver plate, nor does the red lining contain any stains or odors. This is truly a stunning piece and would add to your home decor!!!!
