Looking for a SERIOUS Full Time Live in Household caregiver in Hollywood Florida
A working single executive mother of three children juggling a growing career is in need of a full time live in nanny and household caregiver with a car.
She wants someone who is stable and serious and has family values. She works a lot of hours and travels sometimes and is looking for someone to view this position not only as a job but as a member of the family. She would like to fill the position with someone who can stay long term and help raise the children. It could be 2 years, 5, or even 15 to 20 years if the right fit is found.
The pay is weekly pay of three hundred a week, plus room & board, food, and a gas allowance paid for, and the joy of being part of helping a family and raising the children as the Mother focuses on her growing career to support them.
This person needs to be willing to go above and beyond for the needs of the children. They need to have a car, a valid driver?s license, be a Legal Resident, speak English (Spanish is a plus but not required), and be comfortable and content with the home life and not participate in risky behavior (meaning not use drugs, go out partying or abusing alcohol or having partners over) so they will be alert and attentive during the day for the children. Ideally this would mean an older more experienced person maybe in their 40?s or 50?s. Background check and references will be performed. Patience, understanding, and yet having the ability to be flexible is important. Please do not apply if you are hot tempered. Must understand the power of praise, encouragement, and diversion, yet be firm and not spoil (too much ? ).
The duties include helping the children get ready for school and driving them to school, picking them up from school and making sure homework/studying is done properly. Their schedule will include getting ready for school, drop off/pick up, snack time, homework time, play time, dinner time, shower time, bedtime. They are 4-1/2 & 8-1/2. The oldest who is 14 visits on the weekends but will be home next year for high school so his commutes don?t need to be handled until September.
The day starts at 7am and finishes at bedtime (however must be flexible for Mother to work late and travel when needed) with breaks during the day while the children are at school. However, if the children are home due to illness or school closures, the applicant must be flexible to take care of them all day.
This is a Monday-Friday position.
This person will need be able to help prepare meals, pack lunches, do laundry, run errands, attend to the children?s needs, and light household cleaning.
The person also needs to be able to run errands that include things such as doing weekly groceries or take children to appointments, practice, play dates, or things of that nature. It would also be a plus if they can help the Mother with her personal errands/To Do list.
Basically, the person will be like a second mother and run the household to be supportive of the Mothers career.
This person needs to be ok with living in Hollywood and be someone who is not looking to fulfill a temporary need for employment but is looking for long term employment and to essentially become a member of the family. This is not a ?job?? This person must truly love and appreciate children, family values, and routine, but also be very flexible, so patience is very important. Pay raised and bonuses based on performance.
