Personal Lines Customer Development Specialist

The Personal Lines Customer Development Specialist is responsible for proactively managing the annual renewal process for our customer’s personal lines policies. The Customer Development Specialist will also be responsible for actively seeking out cross sell opportunities to refer customers across business lines.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Manages the renewal program including review of current coverage and recommending additional enhancements as appropriate.
Maintains superior customer relationships and overall customer service standards.
Meets established sales goals as assigned by supervisor.
Solicits additional policies, as appropriate, to round out existing accounts with other Evans products, such as commercial insurance, financial services, and bank services.
Updates customer information as necessary into internal CRM application.
Assists customers with the rollover of existing accounts.
Re-markets existing customer accounts in order to be pro-active to retain and grow business.
Rewrites customer accounts that have received non-renewal notices and non-pay cancellations.
Adherence to established regulatory requirements.
Additional duties as assigned.
Embraces the organization's commitment to synergy by seeking and recognizing opportunities to refer new business to all areas of Evans.
Education/Experience/Certification:
Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of experience in personal lines insurance or related field strongly preferred.
Property and Casualty Insurance Broker License or ability to attain within established timeframe.
Skills:
Beginner knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to work within a team environment
Strong customer service skills
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrated good communicative and interpersonal skills
Strong sales skills with the ability to recognize potential sales opportunities.
