Regional Manager

The Regional Manager will report to the Director, HCTI, and oversee operational staff at each of their assigned client sites. As the key client liaison, the Regional Manager will be responsible for coordinating with hospital executives, managers, staff and medical staff leadership to ensure that the services provided meet the client’s current and future workforce and patient care delivery needs. With a focus on continuous improvement, the Regional Manager will be responsible for evaluating processes, tracking progress, creating policies and procedures and assisting in the oversight and development of all COPE Health Solutions’ service lines at multiple client sites.
The Regional Manager must be able to operate independently with minimal oversight from directors and executives, exercising sound business judgment and maintaining client and partner relationships. This position requires an in-depth working knowledge of the health care environment and market issues affecting hospitals and health systems. The candidate must manage available resources in coordination with supervisors, team members and clients to ensure expectations are consistently met within the constraints of a given project or contract, including scope of work, timeline and budget.
The Regional Manager will represent COPE Health Solutions to community agencies, government agencies, health care providers and others as needed, and adheres to legal and organizational standards regarding confidentiality.
Position Description:
• Provide direct supervision and support to site-specific operational staff in executing contractual commitments for the Clinical Care Extender/PrepStep-Health Care Scholar program and related activities
• Plan and manage major projects for the Clinical Care Extender/PrepStep-Health Care Scholar service line with support from operations staff for task execution
• Plan and manage major projects for additional Health Care Talent Innovations service lines and consulting engagements at assigned client sites
• Develop and execute a strategic plan, in coordination with operational staff, which addresses program expansion, project development, timelines, status reports, and effective coordination with clients and team members
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to effectively report service line impact to client
• Support performance improvement efforts, including assessment of current program operations, data collection and reporting, and execution of dashboard initiatives
• Contribute thought leadership to engagements and organizational knowledge to continually improve work products and enhance value
• Assist in the development of proposals, project deliverables, white papers, and other business materials
• Organize meeting logistics for director and executive level client meetings
• Meet with assigned supervisor, COPE Health Solutions executives, and clients to maintain good communication regarding project work, goals, challenges, and expected outcomes
• Build and manage relationships with key executives and staff at the client site to ensure the success of the engagement
• Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations and ethical standards, as well as COPE Health Solutions employee expectations
• All other reasonably related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience as a Manager, HCTI at COPE Health Solutions
• Flexible with work hours, able to travel, and able to work 4-5 weekends per quarter
• Prior experience in at least two of the following areas strongly preferred:
Service line management
Management of large-scale educational program
Workforce planning
Clinical training
Curriculum development
• Strong acumen for the health care industry, analytical thinking skills and a strong and dedicated work ethic are required
• Skills related to effective project management, including attention to detail, time management, ability to prioritize, problem solving, adaptability, and willingness to learn
• Strong public speaker
• Networking capabilities
• Exceptional professional demeanor
Technical Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Project Management)
