Furniture Repair/Finisher

We are currently seeking a Furniture Medic to repair furniture. This a fulltime position.rn2+ Years of experiencernBackground check & Drug test will be performedrnMust be flexible and able to work overtime as neededrnRepairing Furniture:rn1) Brush, spray, or hand-rub finishing ingredients, such as paint, oil, stain, or wax, onto and into wood grain; then apply lacquer or other sealers.rn2) Disassemble items to prepare them for finishing, using hand tools.rn3) Examine furniture to determine the extent of damage or deterioration, and to decide on the best method for repair or restoration.rn4) Fill and smooth cracks or depressions, remove marks and imperfections, and repair broken parts, using plastic or wood putty, glue, nails, and/or screws.rn5) Follow blueprints to produce specific designs.rn6) Mix finish ingredients to obtain desired colors or shades.rn7) Must know how to work with Leather and fabricrnRequirements Experience required.rnJob Type: Full-time
