This 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser started out as a 4.0 v6 gasoline engine and was professionally converted to the legendary Toyota 1KD-FTV 3.0 liter 4 cylinder common rail turbo diesel engine mated to a 4-speed auto 4x4 transmission. These Toyota diesels are absolutely fantastic! The 16 valve 4 cylinder 1KD-FTV turbo diesel utilizes Toyota’s D-4D ® high pressure common rail fuel system with a variable nozzle turbocharger. The fuel economy, reliability, and range are amazing. We are the only company worldwide performing these conversions and it is exceptionally rare that we have one for sale. In addition to the diesel conversion ($25k), this truck has also been outfitted with over $8k in upgrades! Everything was professionally installed using the absolute best products in the industry. The suspension system is a Radflo™ 3” coil-over suspension system ($2k) with Total Chaos™ upper control arms ($650). We’ve also installed MetalTech™ rock sliders ($600) and an expedition one swing-out bumper $1,500). To top it all off, there are brand new Toyo trail grappler 285 70 r17 tires mounted on bead lock wheels ($2,500) . This includes a full-size spare! Mechanically, we have gone through this engine with all new pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets, seals, and a valve job on the head so this engine should be good for 500k with basic maintenance.
