Avoid Scams

PennySaverUSA.com does not tolerate any attempts to scam and defraud our users. In order to avoid scams, here are some rules to follow by.

  • Stay away from non-local transactions and do not trust sellers who claim to be out of the country.
  • Always meet with the seller in person and inspect the items before buying.
  • Never send money through services like Western Union, Money Gram, PayPal, or BidPay.
  • Never accept any cashier's checks or money orders from unknown parties.
  • Beware of discounted or free puppies. They are most likely attempts to bait buyers into paying for absurd shipping & delivery charges for the "free" adoption.
  • When a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Please report any suspicious ads so we can remove them from our website.

A note on Puppy Scams

Popular breeds like Yorkies, Chihuahuas, English Bulldogs among others are being used as bait by scammers. They rely on specific tactics to target animal lovers to trap them into paying for a non-existent puppy. Beware of generic photos being misused and report any suspicious email exchanges you may have had with an advertiser.

Remember, the best way to prevent scams is to make sure you buy or sell locally and in-person.
