They have been certified by The ©National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a “Patient Centered Medical Home” which is a new approach to providing healthcare that puts patient and family first. Instead of a system structured with different priorities for various segments of healthcare, the Medical Home is organized around the needs of the patient. It is sometimes referred to as Advanced Primary Care. The Patient Centered Medical Home aims to give the right care in the right place the first time. Your primary care physician is specifically trained to be your first point of entry into the healthcare system and will be your advocate in coordinating your ongoing healthcare. You and your primary care physician will work as a team to meet your medical, physical and emotional healthcare needs.
